Kewl Experiences

If you think you're the number 1 fan, beat this.

In a chatroom with Justin, I once asked him to wink at me at the Tonight Show the next night. When I watched the next night, I kept my eyes open and I watched him closely. Right after the performance, he winks! Watch your tapes if you don't believe me.

The two concerts on July 22 and July 23. What else needs to be said? P.S. Steve Fatone is hot.

Once, my friend dared me to listen to my favorite *N Sync song for 72 hours straight (that's three full days, for all of you mathematically challenged) and I did to prove I wouldn't get sick of it. So I got batteries and my headphones and I listened to "Riddle" all through Columbus Day weekend. Guess what. When my 72 hours were up, I kept listening. It's my favorite, it always has been, and it always will be.

For the last tour, special priority seats were available to fan club members. I had to be one of the first 50 in line at the stadium on a school day. My mom finally gave me permission to skip school and I got a senior friend to drive me. (Thanks, Leah!) We both woke up at 4 am and drove two hours to the stadium, all to find out the sales were postponed. I failed, but I had to go to school anyway! I slept until lunch in the nurse's office. (Thanks, Mary Ann!)

For my birthday, my friend offered to use her camera and tape me for FANatic. (Thanks, Athena!) For the finale, I performed the Bye Bye Bye dance in Main Street when it was snowing. We ran out of battery power, so the next day I did it during lunch in front of the whole school. And trust me, my school is not *N Sync-friendly. At the same time, I had a petition that said I was their biggest fan and I got over 80 signatures in 2 days.

Half the people in my school know me as *N Sync Girl (although this year it was shortened to *N Sync) and 9 out of 10 of my yearbook autographs mentioned them.

In addition to Bye Bye Bye, I know the full dance to IGBM and GMHSALMTOY and the chorus of TUMH. And my friends and I choreographed our own dance to Space Cowboy.

I have converted my friend. Nicole, you don't want to admit it, but last summer you hated them with a passion. Now you say Lance is hot and they're better than BSB. I have trained you well.

Every day, I check the list of TV appearances on the official website and search for *N Sync appearances on the TV listings website. In addition, I tape TRL every day in case of a news clip about the guys.

This year for my birthday, I'm getting an ice cream cake with the fabulous five on it.

My best friend and I have a tradition: On each of their birthdays, celebrate by wearing their favorite color. In addition to cake, of course.

I always manage to incorporate *N Sync into my schoolwork. Check out my Poetry for examples.

Okay, 2001 concerts. When I found out tickets were being sold on Saturday morning at 10, I went into work and I told my boss I couldn't work because I had to get tickets. I'm such a big *N Sync fan that he understood and let me go, can you believe it? So that morning at 4, my mom and I drove into Boston (an hour-long drive, plus 15 minutes getting lost and driving around in circles), stood in line in the cold for 5 hours, and finally I got my tickets! And they're as close to the stage as you can possibly get without sitting on the field, and those tickets were sold out the day before tickets went on sale. We had an awesome time!

I preordered four copies of Celebrity. I just couldn't wait! And I had a good reason. First I heard about the phone call you get at samgoody.com, so I preordered there. But in a blond moment, I missed the call, so of course I had to do it again. Then I found out that at Tower Records, you get a free CD-Rom, so I had to do that, too. Then I decided to preorder the import because it came with two bonus tracks. The best part? My call was from Lance. :-)

Before the 2000 concert, I saw Justin hanging out with a couple crew guys by their trailer. He was wearing a wifebeater! Oh yeah!

Here are some of my favorite sound clips from MMC. They're all standard wav files. The first two are JC and the last one is Justin. clip 1 clip 2 clip 3
